Steam-distilled from the year's first cut. Calming to the skin and the nervous system. Antibacterial, quietly floral.

Rosemary
Rosmarinus officinalis

Wild, resinous, awakening. A natural antioxidant that tones the skin and clears the head.

Oats
Avena sativa
From · Castilla y León
Stone-ground and folded whole into the bar. Colloidal oats calm irritated skin and gently exfoliate.

Raw honey

Wildflower honey, never heated. Humectant — draws moisture into the skin — and naturally antibacterial.

Shea butter
Butyrospermum parkii
From · Ghana, fair trade
Unrefined and buttery. Restores the skin's lipid barrier and gives the bar its silky lather.

Coconut oil
Cocos nucifera
From · Philippines, organic
Creates a rich, cleansing lather without stripping. Used in modest proportion so the bar never dries.
What we never use
Parabens. Sulfates. Synthetic fragrance. Artificial dye. Anything we would not put on the skin of someone we love.
