Our Story
A small house
on the coast.
Oleum began, quietly, as a family practice — a pot of olive oil, a copper kettle, and the memory of soaps our grandmother used to cut with a length of nylon string on Sunday afternoons.
Philosophy
We believe skincare should smell of the earth it came from, feel like a moment of rest, and hide nothing.
Every bar is made in a single small workshop on the outskirts of Cádiz. We buy our olive oil directly from a family grove in Jaén, our lavender from the same fields in Provence each June, and our honey from a beekeeper we know by name.
The process is slow on purpose. Cold-process saponification takes 48 hours to set, and six weeks to cure. Nothing is accelerated. The result is a bar that lathers softly, wears down evenly, and leaves the skin feeling clean but never stripped.
We are not a large brand and we do not want to become one. Small batches, made by the same hands, sold to people who care about what they put on their skin.
